Graphic Words was commissioned to update the logo used in the branding of the “West Devon Way” long-distance footpath, and to produce new waymarker discs for use along the trail. We designed these with separate self-adhesive weatherproof arrows, which could be located on the discs to point in any direction required at a specific point along the walk.
Subsequently, we were commissioned to design, lay out and print an updated 24 (A5) page route guide.
This included the provision of mapping for the route, which we created on top of the OS base maps which were supplied under license by our clients. The guide is illustrated in colour throughout, and includes a fold-in perforated reply slip in the inside back cover, to gather feedback about the route and booklet.
Alongside the trail guide, Graphic Words was commissioned to update and print a series of “Countryside Walks on your Doorstep” leaflets, detailing short walks along the West Devon Way long-distance footpath.
The updating included revisions to the sketch maps and photographs included in the leaflets.
Subsequently, Graphic Words was commissioned to update the walk guide leaflet for the Two Castles Trail footpath – click here for details.
