|Langstone Manor Park, an award-winning camping and caravan park on the south-west edge of Dartmoor National Park, initially commissioned Graphic Words to create a pictorial plan of the site. The finished plan was incorporated on a 6 feet x 4 feet display panel, produced on aluminium composite board, mounted at the entrance to the Park.|
|Subsequently, Langstone Manor commissioned us to produce large map panels for their visitors, illustrating visitor attractions, historic sites and walking and cycling routes around Dartmoor.
Graphic Words purchased the rights to use the OS base maps, and identified the points of interest and routes to be shown. We overlayed these on the base maps and added illustrative photographs.
The panel was produced at a size of 1500 x 1800mm, and mounted on aluminium composite board to be displayed in the Park’s information room. A second reduced-size version of the panel was similarly produced for mounting outside Visitor Reception.
|Following on from this, we produced a second large wall-mounted map (overlayed on a licensed OS base map) to illustrate the attractions, historic and natural sites and walking and cycling routes located within a 15 mile radius of Langstone Manor Park.
Graphic Words sourced the base map, and identified the attractrions and routes to be highlighted in this area, adding illustrations around the edges of the panel.
Again these were printed and mounted on aluminium composite board for wall mounting in different locations around the Park.
One panel was produced at a size of 5 feet x 5 feet, with a second copy at 4 feet x 4 feet.
